LATIN AMERICAN ARTISTS: A HISTORY OF ART WITHOUT MEN Through investigation of history, criticism of said history, comparison, and personal reflections, I want to share my thoughts and experiences through my thesis book, Latin American Artists: History of Art Without Men. Artists featured are Tarsila do Amaral, Amelia Peláez, María Izquierdo, Remedios Varo, Gego (Gertrud Goldschmidt), Araceli Gilbert, Carmen Herrera, Anita Malfatti, Beatriz González, Doris Salcedo, and much more. These artists have a voice that should be praised by their works and how male artists took their success away from them through harsh criticism.

My thesis book encourages audiences to rethink the lens of history, criticism, comparison, and reflection and thus come out with a different point of view regarding how female artists are represented.

Community Flag
Crafted a flag for Ecuador's historic Parque Seminario, known as Parque de las Iguanas. The lush green hue represents the park's natural beauty, while an iguana's silhouette symbolizes its unique wildlife community. A central star pays homage to founder Manuel Seminario and the Simón Bolívar statue. Together, these elements weave a symbol of unity, history, and reverence for Parque Seminario's cherished values.
